  Very efficient, helpful, friendly staff. The hotel has been recently renovated with beautiful new fittings. Good food served at breakfast. Great location. - Just a great base for Paris. The Metro is just outside the door. Great Hotel and Saint Germain is the place to be. Would use this hotel again.

I think two people would have been cramped - but for me it was great (besides who needs a large room when you're in Paris?) I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.

  This is not a traditional hotel, but rather an apartment-style hotel with only four or five suites, each with a small kitchenette. Our suite was the smallest – the “studio” next to the office on the second floor (they didn’t have a standard reception desk), but it was exactly as lovely as shown on the website. We were given a key (a real one) attached by a chain to a very large heavy square bronz - This apartment was so beautiful and charming, oozing with Parisian style. The location was great within walking distance to restaurants, Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre and shopping, with the metro station right across the road. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. I was contacted the day before arrival to find out what time they could expect us so that they could arrange an "appropriate welcome". On arrival we were met at the door of the hotel by a staff member who escorted us s
