  It was a nice compromise between apartment and hotel. Having mini kitchen facilities was great for times when we just didn't want another restaurant meal. It was also nice to have the breakfast buffet option. Locations was good.   I really appreciated the location, which felt safe and is close to several metro stations, bus stops and an airport bus. There are also quite a few restaurants and snack bars nearby. The reception is open 24 hours, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was quiet at night, clean and airy, and was great value for money.   The location was excellent. The tree lined Rue Tronchet was one of the most beautifully streets we found in Paris. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and had a lot of charm.   I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean.   I stayed in 2 hotels in Paris, they all are 3 stars hotels and rank top 200 ones in TA. Compare of these two hotels, another one is with higher price, left bank, very close to Notre Dame and restaurants. But I will choose Le Relais Madelene next time. The first reason is the price. It is close to sightseeing and shopping areas. - prime location to go about the city for shopping (at the printemps and the lafayettes) and sight seeing (being only 2 blocks away from the metro station Madeleine). grocery store just a minute walk from the hotel. excellent staff, very helpful and friendly and having them there definitely makes me want to return to this boutique hotel on next visit.

  The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room - The location was fantastic, the Scribe is an excellent hotel with very polite staff. The cleaniness of the rooms was very good and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
