We got a very good deal from letsbookhotel.com which was a fifth of the official price list.
The hotel was huge and luxurious and not your typical European or paris hotels.
Rooms were comfortable and its location was great with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Gaite metro station was just steps away conveniently.

Great room. 5 min to Rue Montparnasse - Everything about the hotel is perfect. It's clean and chic. Modern and comfortable. Even the convenience of internet in the room even if you don't have computer. (With extra charge, of course). The price that I paid include breakfast. The hotel was newly refurbished so the decoration was excellent, everything looks Brand new, the staff is very eager to help and they have Young staff. The view from the window, even though is not a landscape is very "paris' movie" like for a europe first timer is perfect. Very close to a subway station (Gaite) Very close to shopping sites and a lot of Cafes around.

I would strongly recommend this hotel for American tourists, especially
for first-time visitors to Paris. At Legend the beds are extremely
comfortable, the rooms are a bit more generous, and the elevator is
actually large. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating, as
well as professional. Moreover, the location is perfect for first-time
visitors since you are near a major rer station (Montparnasse) and can
