Plaza Etoile was in perfect position for our trip. Very close to metro that meant we could get to most places easily. But also in good walking distance for those that like a stroll. We slept well too, comfy beds and blackout blinds. Close to some good restaurants. -

We were immediately upgraded on arrival to the largest room in the hotel - which clearly added something to our overall experience! However, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was very good, the overally condition of the hotel was good and the location was excellent (2 minutes walk from the arc de triomphe). Breakfast is expensive, though, but all hotels in paris are charging expensive for breakfast. Fabulous location close to the Arc de Triomphe and a short walk to the many restaurants bars and cafes on and around Champs Elysees. We could walk to the Seine in about 20 minutes and a further 10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. We traveled by train from CDG airport changing at Les Halles and arriving at Charles de Gaulle Etoile which is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. With hand luggage this was fairly easy.
