  Most budget and mid-range hotels in Paris have tiny rooms, and these rooms were small, but the hotel was very clean, new, so nicely decorated, had great staff, had a nice cold brekfast (with cheese, ham and yogurt - not just bread products) - it's really a gem of a place.   Have previously stayed at this hotel, which was why we came back. Staff extremely polite and helpful, hotel clean and well situated for my need during the stay. (Was visiting Paris to attend the French open tennis championships). - Great location. Bus is 2 blocks away. Supermarket half a block from hotel.   The staff was very helpful, breakfast excellent, the location good, just a few metres from the metro stop. The room was nice and specious. - This hotel was amazing! Hard time to find it, but we managed. The french really don't want to speak english.

  We loved this hotel. The room was elegant and just as pictured. The bedding was 5 star and even the baby crib had top quality sheets. The location was perfect and close to busy main street , but far enough away that it was quiet.   Plaza Athenee captured the air of romance Paris is famous! I enjoyed my two day trip completely.....till the last touch of hospitality. I will surely return many more times.
