Although there are a range of photos on the site, it really isn't possible to do justice to this lovely hotel. It has been very sympathetically updated and has a real wow factor.

Restored half timbered ancient building - lots of oak beams - spiral oak staircase - spacious room - very clean - central location next to the cathedral with no problem parking in the one-way cobbled street outside the front door - superb continental breakfast with option of cooked if wanted (but we settled for the Continental)

We loved our stay at Le Champ Des Oiseaux in beautiful and charming Troyes. The hotel was so historical but beautifully restored and very comfortable. The vine draped courtyard. The wonderful restoration of a medieval house. Very comfortable beds and quality bed linens. Delicious breakfast in the courtyard. The swimming pool - an unexpected treat. the location - in the heart of the medieval town within walking distance of great cafes. The helpful and accommodating staff. Parking!
