  Owner ( family owned since 1600s) was great host, took pre-dinner drinks witrh us and gave a potted histiry of Manoir. Went foe walk round grounds and their old dog came too. Needs all thge support they can get to keep the place riunning. It is a fascinating place tucked away in the countryside. The owners are friendly and helpful, recommending good places to eat and shop (even recipes for bread).

  The location is fantastic, but the hotel is very dated, however despite that we would stay again. The food is not bad and the staff are very helpfull. - We stayed in this hotel at either end of our holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful although useful to have a member of the family that speaks French.   Corrine and Steve were great hosts and attended to our needs well. The pool area was lovely and the accommodation was very comfortable and relaxing. We could even watch the Ashes test match in the bar as Steve had Sky Sports!

  On arrival at the chateau we were warmly greeted by Zoe. Zoe continued to make us feel at home throughout our two nights stay. Hoel looked after us throughout the evenings for pre dinner drinks and during dinner with pleasant professionalism. Dinner on both evenings was superb and we had the opportunity to thank the chef.
