  The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out but overall... vad folk säger » this is a great hotel in the perfect location at a good price. I cannot fault aragon. - The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.

  The hotel was very well situated for a comfortable 15 min walk to the Old City. For those who cannot walk to far, there is the local tourist train that leaves from the doorstep and takes you directly to the Old City. The hotel is very easy to find and the off road parking is a nice bonus. It was a great base to explore the area since it has easy a... vad folk säger » ccess to motorways and the countryside also. We paid a lot less staying here than staying in the Old City itself. - The hotel was a typical French hotel. We opted for this hotel as we wanted something that wasn't like every other hotel chain. Quirky and very different from your chain hotels. Our room was quite big for a French hotel and the decor was as we expected. We stayed in room 23. The breakfast was French as you would expect and all the staff were polite and friendly.
