  Very clean, modern hotel - room a little small and a slightly strange shape but suited our purposes. Nice to have a pool. Staff quiet but helpful when asked. The best thing was the location - just a few minutes walk from the wonderful medieval city complex. - Large comfortable beds and bedrooms. Pool and terrace.   We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. It is very convenient for travellers who like to focus on old historic city as it is only some minutes away but make sure you need to be fit to climb ... vad folk säger » up the rock floor.. - Space. It was pretty big the apartment for my famility to stay (couple + 1yr old baby + 3 yrs. old child). The location was perfect. Very close to the castle. The access is very good to go walking. Not recomended to go to the castle with the baby trolley but this has nothing to do with the hotel/appartment. Very very good price/quality ratio.

  The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were nice, clean and looked new. The hotel is a bit outside the city, but excellent location if you have a car as it is next to a large shopping center and a short drive to the historic Carcassonne. Both the old town and the Carcassonne castle is worth a whole vaccation. We only spendt 1 night there, bu... vad folk säger » t wished we could have stayed a day or two longer. The only downside to the hotel is that the signs to get there is a bit small. We totally overlooked - It was more like a U.S. motel than any of the 20+ hotels where we have stayed in Spain and France. Because we were traveling by car, this was wonderful! It was an easy drive from the hotel to La Cité and the castle. If you are not driving to Cascassonne, this is not where you want to stay. The hotel is new and spacious.

  This was well situated within easy walking distance of the castle, and with a shockingly good bakery right across the road. The room was tidy and clean, and the beds were very confortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and serviced the room daily. They also were very patient with my schoolgirl French. We didn't try the breakfast ( thank... vad folk säger » s largely to the all too tempting cakes on offer across the road), but it did look like a good selection and seemed very popular. It was very good val - Great price, free secure carpark comfy bed and its a 15min walk to La Cite. But In the hot summer sun the walk to La Cite is punishing. No footpath or shelter, older travelers should be careful. Because of this we drove our car back to La Cite at 8pm, and the was free at this time in the evening.

  The staff were without fail helpful, friendly and cheerful. The accommodation was perfect for our purposes - a comfortable, clean, convenient, modern place to stop over whilst touristing! Our second visit. We recommend it without hesitation! We also recommend, very close by, L'oeil, le Resto, for a very good traditional Southern meal. I left my PC charger in the room and they were good even enough to post it back to me at my home address. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower room and WC were tired and really needed replacing but having said that for a stop over night it was perfectly adequate.

  We loved the gardens and swimming pool area. Also the owners were so friendly and helpful! they learned we were leaving early the next morning before breakfast was due to be served, instantly offered to make us a tray so that we would have something in the morning and had a taxi booked for us as well! so nice and friendly! really helpful too with ... vad folk säger » local information, they also give us a map and marked places etc to see. - La Villa B&B was wonderful. Madame Flo and Jean-Michel were very helpful and friendly. Patient with my attempt at the French language, but conversed well with my partner who's French is far better than mine. We stayed in two different room and both were spotlessly clean and tidy, with a lot of thought going in to the decor and design. fabulous breakfasts!
