  Mother and daughter traveling through the "pays basque", we choose on internet to stay in the "chateau du clair de Lune" and that's one of the best idea! It's just perfect. The location is 10 mn out of city center,out of traffic,in the gorgeous countryside, but close from everything! The staff (Isabelle) was helpful and very welcoming. We e - Great hotel with good rooms and well located. It would be tricky without a car as its about 5km from Biarritz town centre. We stayed in the Hunting Lodge in the Lavender room which was very a comfortable room with a balcony. The pool area is very relaxing and the small pool bar was perfect for a few drinks and a salad during the day. We had a great time here.

  Everything was perfect. The owners / managers know all the gerat spotsto eat and to visit in Biarritz and have been very helpful to arrangethe "must see" and "must do" for us. The hotel is quiet and 10 min fromthe center. There is a lovely terrace to hang out and have a drink orbreakfast. Perfect value. - We stayed at the Mirano in Dec, it was quiet at that time but it had a lovely atmosphere there.The owners made us feel at home, and as we were travelling with our pet it was not a problem, we got a ground floor room with access at the side, which was brilliant.We really enjoyed our stay,well done guys, we'll be back, Con and Mary, Co Cork, Ireland.

  staff were very friendly and the cost was excellent - the rooms were large and clean upon arrival. excellent all round - very nice room with lovely outlook. nice and quiet and close to everything. amazing customer service when dealt with politely. dont let the tacky exterior of the building stop you from using this hotel! really nice local grocer, ... vad folk säger » cheese shop and baker just around the corner (turn right out of the back door accessed through the restaurant). great to have kitchen facilities in the room.

  Our room was spotless as was the lounge/breakfast area. Very helpful receptionist. Despite negative comments from other travellers we found the breakfast was not exactly cheap but reflective of prices in Biarritz. The breakfast was goo in our opinion.
