  The best value for staying near Mont-St-Michel! Skip the hotels on the mount and those nearest to it which are filled with hordes of tour buses. A simple 1.5km (<15 min walk) from hotel to the parking lot for Mont-St-Michel where you can pick up the free trolley over to the mount. Old buildings that have been completely updated on the inside. You can see Mont Sant Michel from the hotel! The hotel probably underwent renovations because the rooms are modern, new and nice! They also serve meals at their hotel which is a plus when you're at the country side where it's hard to find a restaurant or convenience store. The staff was nice enough to offer us another room (which I think is bigger) because our room was not ready yet. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

  The host Marilyn is very friendly and sweet, she prepares all the details information which you may required during your stay (I.E. directions to reach her, good restaurants nearby, how to reach Mont St Michel, etc). The location of the house is good, and we can reach Mont Saint Michel and some good local restaurant easily. Marilyn went out of her way to make sure we knew where to go for dinner and sight seeing. Breakfast was divine. Marilyn has beautifully renovated this old building into a warm and welcoming home....very inspiring. Intimate home stay as there is only one room let out to guests......lovely.

  The hospitality of the owner was first class. We had the use of a kitchen, fridge, kettle etc. It was a perfect base for exploring the area. It was a very peaceful, comfortable experience.

  We were very happy to have found La Jacotiere, especially after walking through the very commercial-looking hotel portion of the town which is directly in the line of sight of Le Mont Saint Michel. Neon and bright red hotel signs lit the relatively quiet street nearest to Le Mont Saint Michel's access causeway. I am extremely sensitive to too much... vad folk säger » stimulation so La Jacotiere was the perfect place for my husband and me.Thankfully La Jacotiere is located just a bit before the bright lights and in - Great! Friendly. Owner gave us great advice go to Mt Saint Micheal when we arrived at sunset. Hardly any crowds, we watched tide come in and shuttle bus runs till midnight. Spectacular views all evening. We ate on the Mont at a restaurant were there 5-11PM. In the am 40 tour buses were there at 9:30. so glad we did not wait till morning to go. P.S Tour De France rides past B&B 7/9/13.

  The location to Mont Saint Michel was excellent. The rooms are all you would need for a night or two. It would receive a perfect score if the beds were comfortable. - Staff were friendly, helpful and as we didn't speak French their English was good. Held our bags in reception when we went to mont st Michael. Very good breakfast.

  I booked this hotel because I wanted to stay on Le Mont Saint Michel for the night and it was quite affordable. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, even with a 2.5 power outage over most of Le Mont that evening. It made it feel even more authentic. I had one of the rooms up the street from the main hotel. Probably because it - It was interesting staying right on Mont St Michel and this hotel is a good value and very easy to find. They have a very nice restaurant however we did not eat there as it didn't open until 7:00 PM and we were tired and hungry before that. There are many eating options from sandwiches to high end restaurants. However, the inexpensive ones closed early (it is November). Don't expect a fancy room. The one we had (a triple) was a bit cramped but one on the floor below us seemed quite a bit b

  What a great B&B! Daniela and Kim made us feel very welcome and had good information about visiting Le Mont St. Michel. We arrived in the late morning, left the car at the B&B and walked up to Le Mont. When we returned, we told Daniela that we had purchased some wine and some Calvados (don't miss trying the Calvados...after all, this is th... vad folk säger » e home of the stuff) and she immediately provided us with appropriate glassware. What a treat...we'd been drinking wine out of plastic cups for a coup - We loved everything! Danielle is the perfect host. The B&B is in walking distance to the shuttle to Mount St. Michel. The rooms are meticulously designed to be warm and inviting. Danielle herself is charming, down to earth and extremely helpful. We were very lucky to get a room here at such a late notice. I recommend her lovely rooms to young and mature travelers. We only stayed one night but hope to return to Mount St. Michel and to this B&B in the very near future. Thank you Daniell

  Very top notch quality hotel. The best on the island. Totally first class. - A wonderful, charming hotel right on Mont St. Michel. Very convenient location just inside the gate, so you're not hauling luggage through the narrow, steep streets. The room was spacious, very clean and recently renovated.
