  We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. The staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever we asked and we needed help with something (hairdryer etc.) We had got also a map of Cesky Krumlov with r... vad folk säger » ecommendations for restaurants, music, galleries etc. Breakfast was ok, with fresh bread, rohliky etc. and homemade products. We will come again for s - Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

  I've stayed at this property 2 previous times before starting in 2001. The location and type of "castle b & B" you can't beat it. It's right next to the great historic town brewery.   This is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of the city, right off the pedestrian zone. With that said, do not attempt to the front door. Turn into a parking area through the "Red Gate" and you will find stairs in the far left corner leading to the hotel. Parking is about 200m from the hotel because of the hotels great location. Breakfast was super w - We enjoyed our stay at U Zamku very much. Petr was a most welcoming and friendly host, helping with parking on arrival and numerous other things during our stay. He even posted a tripod stand, which we had left behind, to our next hotel. The location is wonderful, right under the castle, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts very good.   We recieved wonderful friendly personal service. Our hosts were extremely helpful and accomodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best ones on our trip. The rooms were lovely, comfortable, and each had a special decor. The pension is well-located and accessible to excellent restaurants and sights.   The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.... vad folk säger » Very good value! - Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.   We loved our experience from the moment we walked in the door of the beautiful boutique Hotel Belarie. Such a warm, friendly welcome, exquisitely beautiful room with double doors opening on to a balcony overlooking the river. Faux Louis XIV style. Huge breakfast included served on the terrace overlooking the river. Staff had it waiting every morning. Cannot say enough about the helpful and friendly staff. We loved this Pension Hotel Belarie!

  The Hotel was excellent. The lady was very friendly and breakfast was great basic English but our daughter spoke Czech which helped. Rooms clean and comfortable part way up a hill so probably not good for guests who have problem with steep banks unless you have car to go back and forwards. Nice swimming pool to cool down in - Location is perfect ... vad folk säger » to reach the center of Krumlov on foot within 15min. And Landlady is so kind and informative to give sufficient information to guest and she welcomed us with hospitality so friendly and tried her best to make our family be comfortable. When I visit there again, I will book and stay there definitely.
