Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

This is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of the city, right off the pedestrian zone. With that said, do not attempt to the front door. We enjoyed our stay at U Zamku very much. Petr was a most welcoming and friendly host, helping with parking on arrival and numerous other things during our stay. He even posted a tripod stand, which we had left behind, to our next hotel. The location is wonderful, right under the castle, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts very good. Darling breakfast room and good breakfast. Be sure to get a parking pass before you go--they will help you with that. We highly recommend Pension Aadelbert! - The hotel was central within the old town and as we were driving in, parking had been organised for us...this was excellent service. The weather had just turned cold and the heating was wonderful. Very friendly staff and great morning coffees.

The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.

Everything! Location on the river with superb view of the castle. Room was huge with 2 beds ( one king and one twin) and couch and 2 chairs, vanity, and armoire. Faux Louis XIV style. Huge breakfast included served on the terrace overlooking the river. Staff had it waiting every morning. Cannot say enough about the helpful and friendly staff. We loved this Pension Hotel Belarie!

Affable staff, good breakfast, location in the center, much comfortable rooms, nice design, clean, air-condition in the rooms on the 3th floor. Reception opening time is limited from 8:00-18:00, but later check-in is possible if you let administrator know what time you will arrive. Would like to stay there one more time. -

great basic English but our daughter spoke Czech which helped. Rooms
clean and comfortable part way up a hill so probably not good for guests
who have problem with steep banks unless you have car to go back and
