  This apartment was great and we really felt at home here. It was very spacious, comfortable and quiet with all the amenities plus a fully equipped kitchen.   Lovely grand hotel 40 minutes outside Chengdu city. Enourmous very comfortable bed with plush linens. Loved that the bathroom opened up into the bedroom. There are two fantastic pools, though they try to make you wear swimming caps which is frustrating and ridiculous. The restaurants are great with several choices of cuisine. There is also a free ... vad folk säger » shuttle into Chengdu and the Panda Research Base a few times each day. Otherwise a taxi to the Pandas will set you back RMB50. The Spa was fantastic, - The staff are faultless. They arranged our 'hold a baby panda' experience ahead of time with wonderful ease and efficiency - thank you Jessie! The room was suburb, large, clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It's a bit out of Chengdu- but if you are there for a panda cuddle and nothing else it's just perfectly located 5 minutes from the park with a free regular shuttle.   I am a coffee drinker and I have to say that I was really happy to find real coffee at this hotel. Because coffee is not too popular in China, I was surprised and delighted to find good quality italian coffee. And the service was 24 hours, so this was just perfect for me.   The location was good. We were upgraded to family suite,which gives comfort. Gym And swimming pool are accesible 24 hours which is a plus point. - Great place to stay in Chengdu and great value for money. They have everything a 5 star hotel has without the 5 star prices.
