  The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email... vad folk säger » s as I would like to stay again if I could afford it. - The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

  Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. There was also a hot tub on the balcony which was great just right for watching the sunset. Near to whale watching companies as well. - The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

  It was very charming and immaculate, in a pretty, quiet setting. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the people were all quite friendly and helpful. Being gluten-free, I really appreciated her efforts to accommodate and give me special treats. Very helpful staff with great recommendations for eating and sight seeing trips.   I love the location of Ocean Village - right on the beach, with a wonderful view of the ocean and islands. The cabins are well equipped, and linens can be changed as often as you wish. Staff are friendly and always ready to help.   The views! Awesome view of the ocean and the surfers trying to catch the right wave. Huge room with balcony seemed so private and quiet in this fairly busy place. Bathroom behind slats from bedroom, but could see the view from the bath too! I'm sure the first room would have been fine though. Could walk for miles from the beach entrance...just lovely. - Staff: warm, friendly, helpful, engaging...couldn't ask for better. Food in hotel restaurant: amazing! Menu is unique, tantalizing, creative...truly a gourmet delight. The breakfast is perfect! Accommodations: impeccable, clean, quiet, comfortable, luxurious...and we could leave the windows open for fresh sea breeze. Location: remote enough to be unspoiled, close to marvellous trails and beaches.

Our dog is important for us.   We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniv. in our middle 70's. This was a bit more expensive than our fixed pensions would normally allow, but it was special. Unfortunately, my wife fell ill and was "down for the count" on the Sun. and Mon. of our stay. These were the days we had planned special meals in Tofino. Never happend. Right out of our room we could see the beach only about 50 steps from our balcony. A surfers paradise. The beach is well used by others which as a new surfer gives me comfort. the boardwalk close by gives you multiple areas for sunset watching every night. this resort is fairly basic (no pools or hot tubs etc) however, we could have stayed there another week for sure. Highly recommend this hotel.
