  Staff were friendly and helpful even though we spoke no Portuguese. The hotel is organised very well, very clean and safe. We went for Carnaval, it was the perfect location for transportation links or walking to the many parties. Despite the street parties close by, the hotel is located just far enough to not hear anything at night and in the morn... vad folk säger » ing you wake up to a lovely clean street! The air conditioning is perfect. - Value for money in Rio, WiFi always worked in my room, Breakfast was good and delivered to my room. Around the corner from Rio Scenarium, an excellent nightclub with live bands. The Rio Metro is within walking distance and can take you anywhere for less than US$2.

  Very professional, helpful staff. Enormous room with jacuzzi and a walk-in shower that doubles as a steam room. Very acceptable level of noise in my street-facing room. Good wifi in the public areas. - Really nice bedroom! Bath and shower are awesome!

  We spent three nights at the R&C Santa Teresa and were very happy with our choice for romantic vacation. The room was very nice and very clean. The design of hotel is awesome. The staff is very friendly and this is valid for everybody (security, front desk, waiters, room service etc). The people from the front desk always had a smile on thei... vad folk säger » r face and were very helpful for taxi, recomendation to order restaraunt, clubs, etc The spa is really nice, romantic and the massages are very good b - Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

  Location was good by Flamenco Beach to get to and from all attractions. Local busses and Airport busses stopped at end of the Hotels Road (along main road) and short walk from subway staition.
