  Personel was very nice, polite, communicative, willing to help; cameras all over the place, we felt safe there; Big parking space, close to old town and "baš čaršija"; - Good location. Very nice and helpful stuff. Parking place. The downtown is 15 minute on foot (through narrow streets downhill - and uphill back).

  The hotel staff very helpful and nice. The apartment facilities are very good and although the weather was very hot, apartment was very fresh and no need for the air condition at all. Walking distance from the city centre very convenient (just few hundred meters in the very quite location) especially after having a huge dinner at Bascarsija restau... vad folk säger » rants and fast foods :) Staying in the group of friends it is a very good value for money - Hotel Herc was a really quaint hotel with a friendly staff. The location was really unique - while close to all of the action, it felt isolated because it was at the top of the hill. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They have good internet throughout the hotel. The breakfast was consistently good and felt more like a B&B than a hotel.

  we stayed for 5 nights at Villa Wien in summer 2013. The hotel is located in the heart of Sarajevo and is small, but really nice. All sights in the old town are within very short walking distance. The staff was always extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms nice, modern, clean and very cozy. Breakfast is served outside on a little terrace.   We were very impressed with the hotel in all respects. The staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent - 5 minutes from the old town. I would definately recommend the hotel - Great location, staff were very helpful and friendly, and a really comfortable setting for a woman travelling alone.

  I arrived much later than expected to Sarajevo, but despite having to wake up the owners, they were very understanding! They made me feel very welcome and cooked me a lovely breakfast (special eggs for Easter too!) They even looked after my bags after my check out time so I could explore Sarajevo a bit more before moving on. - Pleasant welcoming,... vad folk säger » friendly owner, big city map on the wall, recommend it for a short stay, nice breakfast, just a short walk down the hill and you get directly to Baščaršija. Small parking, but when you're there you don't need car any more (for example, you can't park on Baščaršija).

  The motel is at the perfect location, in the vicinity of Bascarsija with parking place provided for guests. Reception ladies are very welcoming and ready to provide advice on Sarajevo sightseeing spots and shopping locations.   So far, everything. After booking for two nights, I've decided to stay longer. It's such a well-run place with great staff, who are very friendly like Sarajevo in general. The rooms are large, furnished very well with a fine table and seating and the Internet connection is very good. There's a great choice for breakfast as well. Patrick Sweeney - It's easy to get to the city centre by taxi (it only costs about 3 Euros and takes a few minutes). Free parking is available outside the hotel. Room service is very good in the hotel and the breakfast is also quite nice. Sarajevo is just one of the best places to go to in Europe and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a low budget yet good quality service.

  Great family run boutique hotel. On arrival the owners greeted us with a nice warm welcome. Tastefully decorated, very spacious apartment which was well equipped. Friendly helpful staff.   I stayed at this hotel with my young daughter on a car trip from Munich to Istanbul with a side trip to Sarajevo. We were met by the hotel owner who helped us park our car, took our luggage and escorted us to a wonderfully and tastefully decorated room overlooking the historic Latinski Bridge. The hotel is run and managed by a young family who took a rundown house and re - First off, Irma and Eldin (I'm sorry if the spelling is incorrect guys!) made our staff that much better. They were both extemely friendly, and gave us fantastic advice on great restaurants, things to do, etc. - Eldin even held up traffic to take a few pictures of us with the Latin Bridge.   This is is my second stay in this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Sarajevo old town. It's 2 minutes walking distance from Bascarsija, nicely furnished, heated,great value for money,secure parking which is highly recommended. I have never got such good value for money in accommodation before, our room was large, with an en-suite bathroom, very comfortable beds, television, table, chairs, wardrobes and a large window.   We stayed here to catch an early morning flight. Usually airport hotels are expensive and/or run down. The Ocatgon was neither. The rooms were pleasant and the staff were very helpful.
