  I live just across the road from the Zeemanshuis and booked a room while some renovation work was taking place in the house. I really enjoyed my stay! It was very interesting to see the variety of guests staying there, from tourists to sailors. I have heard that the hotel is due to be leveled and replaced with shops.   The location was superb - in the heart of Antwerp's lovely old town. The hotel itself was beautiful - lots of interesting and quirky features. Our room - up three flights of steep stairs - but worth it, was large and comfortable and had a fantastic view over the city's rooftops towards the cathedral. We loved it.
