  Friendly welcome from all we met, excellently clean and comfortable, central location, from where we could explore the sites of Bruges. We would warmly recommend T'Zand Hotel - Friendly. helpful staff and excellent food in the downstairs restaurant made our 3rd stay at Hotel T Zand as enjoyable as ever.   The whole experience of staying at the Calis was excellent. Breakfast was wonderfull and served in the room which was a big help because we had our dog with us. The welcome was very friendly and we were recommended an excellent place to eat in the evening. There was nothing that we feel could be improved.   I found the staf friendly and helpful. I found the building very cosy and I liked its narrow stairways and corridors. The place has character, in keeping with the "Olde Worlde" character of the city itself. The pub/restaurant area had a nice atmosphere, a great place for winding down with a few beers after a strenuous day of sightseeing.
