  Everything and I'm not exaggerating. The review score on letsbookhotel.com is 9.6 so far for a reason, because this place is truly amazing. The location is perfect as it is right next to the canal with the Church of Our Lady right across from the canal. Quiet and pretty neighborhood, with a Michelin restaurant right across from the cobble stone st... vad folk säger » reet. The hotel itself is antique-style, but has 5-star-hotel facilities. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast included is brill - Charming, exquisite building and interior decor, full of character. Set in an attractive, quiet location which is central to everything we wanted to do in Bruges. Our room shared that same romantic feel as the rest of the building and contained everything we needed + more. Breakfast was a delightful experience in itself - well presented, fresh, high quality foods with an amazing window view while we ate. Lyne, the hostess proved to be extremely helpful, attentive and a genuinely lovely lady. Ve

  The whole experience of staying at the Calis was excellent. Breakfast was wonderfull and served in the room which was a big help because we had our dog with us. The welcome was very friendly and we were recommended an excellent place to eat in the evening. There was nothing that we feel could be improved. Calis in a quiet but ideal spot as it is in the old city and very close to the centre. - Stayed two nights in African Room with our dog Charlie. Our hosts Lawrence & Daniel were fantastic...Lawrence booked us a vet for our return to the UK and Daniel drove us there in the snow! The breakfast was delicious...served in our room. Hotel is walking distance to everything...would recommend this hotel to everyone! They made you feel like family. Barbara & Richard
