The apartment was spacious and we had access to the garden. The children really liked the chickens in the garden. We had a very large breakfast each day. The shared kitchen was well stocked with equipment. -

Superb hotel. Exterior: best looking building on de Panne front. Interior: fantastic, good clean rooms, lovely dining room with sea views, excellent facilities (rooms, pool, dining areas). Friendly and very helpful reception and dining room staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The owners and staff were some of the most friendly, welcoming and helpful people we have ever met. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was lovely and the location was great for a beach visit or as a place to stay within 30 mins of the dunkirk ferry port. A very well ran, child friendly hotel. Will definitely visit again.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. Since our last stay they have made many improvements on what was already a very nice hotel.

From the moment we arrived the lady at reception was the most pleasant person you could wish to meet, even to the parking meter we were helped and offered for our luggage to be taken to the hotel. The booking in was quick and easy, within minutes we were in our room. The room was above what we expected, very clean, comfortable and just everything we wanted was available. We could not fault this hotel. The breakfast was superb and more than enough, again the young lady was so positive at all tim

We stayed in the cottage, 6 bedrooms and 2 floors is not what I would
normally expect a cottage to be, it was a rather imposing residence with
good sized rooms with the bonus of a good sized beer fridge. A good
sized shower with seemingly endless hot water and a comfortable bed made
for an enjoyable experience. -
