  This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. The division between the sleeping and sitting areas make them more like suites than just rooms. Anne-Aymon - From the moment we arrived the lady at reception was the most pleasant person you could wish to meet, even to the parking meter we were helped and offered for our luggage to be taken to the hotel. The booking in was quick and easy, within minutes we were in our room. The room was above what we expected, very clean, comfortable and just everything we wanted was available. We could not fault this hotel. The breakfast was superb and more than enough, again the young lady was so positive at all tim

  The apartment was excellent and well equipped the landlord was so helpful and polite, the location was minutes from the beach, shops and tram network. - Good standard of accommodation, very helpful staff (nothing was of any trouble) and well situated for our purpose (cycling in and around the region).

  We stayed at the Hotel Donny at the beginning and end of our four weeks holiday in Europe.   Superb hotel. Exterior: best looking building on de Panne front. Interior: fantastic, good clean rooms, lovely dining room with sea views, excellent facilities (rooms, pool, dining areas). Friendly and very helpful reception and dining room staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was lovely and the location was great for a beach visit or as a place to stay within 30 mins of the dunkirk ferry port.   We stayed in the cottage, 6 bedrooms and 2 floors is not what I would normally expect a cottage to be, it was a rather imposing residence with good sized rooms with the bonus of a good sized beer fridge.
