  This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. The division between the sleeping and sitting areas make them more like suites than just rooms. Anne-Aymon - From the moment we arrived the lady at reception was the most pleasant person you could wish to meet, even to the parking meter we were helped and offered for our luggage to be taken to the hotel. The booking in was quick and easy, within minutes we were in our room. The room was above what we expected, very clean, comfortable and just everything we wanted was available. We could not fault this hotel. The breakfast was superb and more than enough, again the young lady was so positive at all tim

  The apartment was excellent and well equipped the landlord was so helpful and polite, the location was minutes from the beach, shops and tram network. - Good standard of accommodation, very helpful staff (nothing was of any trouble) and well situated for our purpose (cycling in and around the region).

  Our second stay here was as good as the first. Natalie and her team were as friendly and helpful as before. Great breakfast (eggs and bacon, fresh fruit, excellent croissants and chocolate breads) for 10€ pp, bargain compared to other countries/hotels, although there might have been a reduced price for kids. Within the hotel there is a well furnished souvenir shop an - The hotel was very clean and bright and the staff very friendly. The room was large and very comfortable with ample wardrobes and storage space, kettle, tea and coffee and a mini-fridge. We had informed them we would not be arriving until later than reception was normally open but they arranged for someone to be there for us. The restaurant was open until a reasonable time and had a good menu. In a quite location but only ten minutes by car from De Panne with its shops and fine beaches.
