  The whole atmosphere is great (if you like that authentic Austrian style - with the smell of the grass and horses). We absolutely loved it, especially our balcony with the lake view. It is a bit off the main road on the hillside. But this is rather an adventage as it is far from the noise. - Wonderful place!   Friendly reception by owner; great service on getting in and settled. Home style atmosphere, great cuisine! Owners take special pride in setting up a relationship with guests. Excellent value for money. This hotel was the best value we had travelling from London, Zurch, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna.   Fantastic location: by the lake and between the hills! Nice walkway around Gosausee (appr. 4.5 kms) and starting point for several hiking routes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great food! Half-board: soup, 3 options for main dish, desert. Silent during the night.
