This apartment is about as close to perfect as one can get. It is owned
by an English couple who retired in the area. They were informative,
helpful, and friendly from our very first communication. The apartment

street away from the noise of the city. Bad Ischl is a perfect location
for exploring the entire lake district. There are many options for
hiking, -
1. Mr. and Mrs. Herridge were two very friendly British people and can speak both English and German. They were helpful with our travelling plans and offered very good service.
2. The appartment was big, clean, well furnitured and warm in winter.
3. From the bedroom we had a very good sight of the Alps.
4. Covenient traffic: the Bahnhof is only 5 minutes away and trains connect Hallstatt and other beautiful towns. City centre is also very near where you have everything.

The surroundings are absolutely fantastic with beautiful Mountains. The staff were very generous and friendly and it was a joy spending the night at their lovely land-hotel. Excellent service at the hotel made it a pleasant stay. Wolfgang even went out of his way to help us book tickets to the railway train & gave us recommendations on where to go on rainy days, which was much needed with a 2.5 yr old toddler in tow.
Our room was very clean, cosy, modern and well-equipped.
There was a good selection at that buffet breakfast as well as a big collection of toys in the children's corner which kept our toddler very happy.

The best thing about this place is definitely the hosts and their hospitality. They make every effort to make your experience feel like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everything that you may happen to need during your stay is already there. There is parking on the grounds and location is bit secluded and away from the lake but beautiful

The facility had a lot of "ginger-bread" options. Nothing was lacking! Our room was extremely comfortable with a sink and mirror in it. We also had an extremely we-stocked kitchen/dining room and very nice private bathroom across the hall. The Host and Hostess were extremely gracious! Their home is within 1.5 km of Halstatt but outside the bustle of town. We loved it and would consider going back for a more extended stay!

The whole atmosphere is great (if you like that authentic Austrian style - with the smell of the grass and horses).
We absolutely loved it, especially our balcony with the lake view.
It is a bit off the main road on the hillside. But this is rather an adventage as it is far from the noise. -
