  The family owned hotel made you feel right at home, extremely helpfuland friendly. This lake shore hotel with the view of thelake/mountains is a gem. - Stunning View! We just loved it. Even had playground for the children. We would love to go back and spend more time there.

  We stayed two days in a very pleasant hotel. Room was huge, very comfortable and very clean. Nice restaurant for dinner & rich Breakfast buffet. Above all, the couple’s running the place are extremely nice as can be and would do anything possible to please & help. We've enjoyed our stay at Bürglstein very much and would recommend it to everybody ag - Excellent service at the hotel made it a pleasant stay. Wolfgang even went out of his way to help us book tickets to the railway train & gave us recommendations on where to go on rainy days, which was much needed with a 2.5 yr old toddler in tow. Our room was very clean, cosy, modern and well-equipped. There was a good selection at that buffet breakfast as well as a big collection of toys in the children's corner which kept our toddler very happy.

  The stuff was very kind and cheerful. The breakfast area was nicely designed and the food they served was diversified and in good quality. The rooms were spacious comfortable; the rooms in the old building has a historical atmosphere while the rooms in the newer building has a contemporary color presumably co-ordinated elaborately. - We stayed in... vad folk säger » a double room, well appointed, clean and comfortable (Zimmer 3), which was better we thought, than the room we had previously in the "older" part of the hotel, although smaller. Good breakfast and good evening menu in the spacious and popular restaurants. Great location for Mondsee.

  My sister and I loved our stay in Hallstatt. We were upgraded to a junior suite on the top floor of the main house - with a very convenient elevator not far away. We had stunning views of the lake and parts of the town from our little balcony. The room was very spacious, crisp, and clean (I think it is one of the rooms pictured on the website). We followed the hotel's directions to their suggested parking area, used the "hotel" buzzer near the cashier, and the shuttle coll - The gorgeous town of Hallstatt had experienced devastating flash flooding two nights prior to our visit and our hotel had been affected. You wouldn't have known that though as they cleaned up very quickly. Our room was divine. Luxurious, comfortable, and extremely clean. The view of the lake from our balcony was breathtaking.   Room decor outstanding and very comfortable. Traditional Austrian style with gorgeous woodwork throughout. Cost was very reasonable for such a beautiful place. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake are breathtaking, although from this location they are interrupted by other buildings. Staff able to speak English which was an help. Fresh trout - Friendly staff who spoke English fairly well, a clean room with a partial view of the water and town (and the next building) and a great restaurant downstairs.   The design of this hotel is superb! It has the charm, warmth and elegance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a lake view room and I wish we could have stayed there longer. The view is breath taking. The room had all the ameneties, bath room ameneties are excellent to the details.   The staff was really nice. The breakfast was very good. We had a wonderful view of the "Gosaukamm" and other mountains from our room, as well as the terrace. The hotel is only a short drive from Lake Gosau and the gondola up to one of the surrounding mountains. The food was very good here. - We were made to feel like one of the family.
