  Great location just out of Salzburg. If you're not traveling by car it could be a bit out of the way. We're in the area quite often so we have no issues with driving into town so it wasn't an issue. Check for public transportation if you're taking the train into town. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Will probably turn this into our "base" ... vad folk säger » hotel from now on while staying in Salzburg. - Nice staff and good restaurant

  The owners are very friendly. They did their best to help us when we got some troubles with the car. The location is pretty good if you travel by car. - Staff friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble! :)

  Bra parkeringsmöjligheter - It was a delightful experience. While reading some of the reviews priorto being there I did have a few concerns. But after having been thereand experiencing first hand none of those negative comments applied. Wethought the staff was more than accommodating, the parking was veryconvenient and most easy to access. The room... vad folk säger » was great and even thoughit overlooked the st. We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).

  Bodde för andra gången och det var återigen bra service från vänlig personal, easy access till hotellet för bilsemestrare, snabb in/utcheckning och ett prisvärt garage. Gott om utrymme i i rummen, välstädat och väldigt fräscha badrum.   Reception staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is located in a less crowded area near a highway and near a MacDonalds. Beds very comfortable. Very clean linen. Free parking. The bus station (bus nr.21, "Gruner Wald" station) is in front of the hotel and takes about 20 minutes to reach the city center ("Mirabell Garten" station). Very good value for money. - the reception staff (in particular the tall guy with dark hair, who gave us great advices on where to go to eat) was perfect; the rooms were clean and comfortable; the location of the hotel was far from the city, but the centre was easily connected by the bus stop n. 21, right in front of the hotel.
