We also enjoyed the lovely little restaurant which was always welcoming and warm with a good menu for children and adults. The location was also good, if you were driving, as it gave easy access to the big freeways.

The family who run the hotel are absolutely delightful people who could not have been more helpful and had excellent English. The food was lovely, the room was beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean and so nice and warm. The views over the valley were lovely too. -

It's a pretty easy walk to the hotelfrom the main train station, although I get lost usually my first timein every new city. Hotel isadorable, by the way. - We would rate this hotel of one of the best we have stayed at. It is close to the main rail and bus stations ,also good restaurants. Walking to the town centre is an easy one about 15 to 20 mins.

Nice spacious twin room with balcony overlooking the mountains, very clean. Bathroom was also large and spotless. Staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is centrally located, 10min walk from railway station, 5 minutes walk from buses going to Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn cable car or locally to Schmittenbahn, 5 min walk to the lake promenade and boats, restaurants and shops nearby. The restaurant has good and affordable food for an evening meal. Internet wireless worked very well.

This is a wonderfull family hotel. Robert Dankl and his family are amazing people, always so nice and willing to help. Robert is a great chef, and on the ground floor of the hotel there is an amazing restaurant and bakery, which we highly reccomend.

The hotel Dankl is a small hotel in Lofer. The hotel is very clean, the
shower is very nice, the beds are comfortable. The staff is very
friendly and helpful. The pastry shop is awesome. We were there on
Sunday and the people never stopped coming to the restaurant. It's a
small town but I think everyone in the town goes there on Sunday. Great
place to people watch. We talked to the pastry chef, Robert. He was very
friendly and helpful.
