  We had booked the appartement which was excellent. Spacious and very well appointed. Also booked one single room within hotel. That room was described as cold but otherwise ok.

  Returned to Gasthof Piburgersee after 25 years, where used to spend vacations several times a year. Hotel has improved comfort but kept its traditional style. Conveniently located in mountains but close to larger village, enjoys the beauty of an alpine lake of mild bathing temperature and easy tracks. We took the half-board deal - the food and the service were excellent. It is located 5 minutes walking from a lovely lake. The price was absolutley fair and I really hope to visit there again!!
