  The staff were helpful and made us feel very welcome. The price was very reasonable, with comfortable rooms and pleasant decor. The food was tasty with generous portions.   The room was large, comfortable and clean. It was easy to move around the hotel and breakfast was convenient. The location was essentially in the center of town. - The hotel had everything we needed right on our doorstep. The Basilica, shops and lovely walks. The staff were so friendly, attentive to our needs.

  This is a beautiful remodeled hotel. The rooms are spacious and exquisitely decorated with Italian furnishings. All of the fixtures and finishes are top-of-the-line. There are chandeliers in every room, down comforters and pillows, and an awesome shower. Breakfast was provided downstairs in the restaurant and was delicious and full of options. Not only did she go out of our way to accommodate us when we arrived late - We see Hotel zum Heiligen Geist as the best you can have today in Mariazell! Great new interior - including room, furniture, bathroom; great location close to lift and competitive pricing, when compared to other hotels in town - much better Value for money ratio compared to others. Also best cancellation policy; which gives you better flexibility and safety when on travel.
