  We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Our room had lots of space for our little one to zoom around in his walker & was at the far end so nice & quiet. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome.   Probably one of the best Ibis Budget hotels in Australia. Super clean, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Free parking and free tea and coffee until 10pm. Great value for money option. - We have used this chain before and as usual we were not disappointed. They are always clean, well positioned and have excellent staff.

  I had spent three days hiking so was looking for a hotel room with a spa bath. The Heritage Hotel room was perfect. The spa filled fairly quickly, there was plenty of hot water and the jets were strong. The towels were large and very soft. The motel room was spacious with a dining setting and microwave as well. The breakfast had a great variety of both hot and cold food and the staff in both reception and the d - We were a family of 5,booked 2bdroom and there were 4 single beds and a double !! Wonderful ..so much space for us, with a cute little kitchen/dining.with microwave...convenient location with many shops and cafes within walking distance. Recommend it to families,with Breakfast.. So much easier.

  I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to. I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased.   what I liked was the fact is was so intimate there was never more than five people in the pools. Back door led to grassed area beside Mehi River. 2 artesian spas and 1 swimming pool were just perfect for relaxing. We did not have to venture away to have the artesian experience. The restaurant was very good. The food was outstanding. The staff were also outstanding - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem.

  Owners Jason & Tanya were very friendly and excellent hosts. They could not do enough for my wife and myself during our 6 day stay at their motel. Located in a nice quiet spot the motel was still easily accessible to the banks, woolworths, coles and restaurants. We will certainly stay there when we next visit Cowra.   The staff were amazing. After being delayed for a flight from my home town to Newcastle to pick up a car i called the motel to let them know we wouldn't arrive until midnight. (as we were driving down to Melbourne ) She was so friendly and said she would leave the key out for us. Would definitely stay there again. - We where looking for a motel in this area as a stop over from Sydney to Melbourne, after we visited the Blue mountains in the afternoon. The Colonial Lodge is a perfect stop for this. The rooms and the bath was refurbished and we had everything we need. Everything was perfect clean and the parking is just in front of the rooms. The owners are really friendly an help out with every information you would need.

  The room was large enough for my purpose - I only wanted a restful nights sleep after a long journey. It had sufficient conveniences for my stay - microwave, TV, fridge and a very comfortable bed. We arrived very late and were grateful that the man peered out his unit to direct us to a good parking spot as we had a high load and couldn't fit under the parking lot.   I stayed in room 23 with my girl friend Karen Bosco who made the booking. I live in Adelaide Karen lives in Sydney and came to Katoomba to do the mountains with Karen over the Easter break. I was blown away right from the start of our stay, the fella who did our booking when we arrived was so helpful the way you pulled out a map and started to poi... vad folk säger » nt out the touristy things to look at blew me away (now that's customer service something you don't get a lot of these days) breakfast was plentiful a - We were very impressed with the helpful staff, all very friendly and they supplied a lovely full breakfast in the dining room and in our room we also had a microwave and items to be zapped in it were available for purchase at the office. We entered our room it had the heating on and was lovely and warm and very comfortable the whole time. It is about 15 mins walk (with luggage) from the Katoomba Railway Station and very convenient to shops and all facilities.
