  the staff were very friendly and helpful the foyer had a beautiful perfume smell the hotel was in a perfect spot about 50 meteres to the Victoria markets and walking distance to the city. taxis and trams were just out the front deli across the road that was opened till late the café was just through the foyer doors will definatley book there agai... vad folk säger » n. - Love the location near the Victoria markets.   I can't say enough good things about the Alto and staff . The room was clean ,comfortable and had little extras that made you feel at home.I had a mini box of chocolates and a welcome note waiting in my room as well as my luggage that they had kept secure for me for a week I was traveling to Caines . Walking distance to Southern Cross and Etihad... vad folk säger » ! Just Awesome Hotel - The beds were probably the most comfortable we had slept in over the 5 weeks we were away. The staff were very friendly and the manager went out of his way to help solve an issue I had with my myki card. He was also a valuable source of information on what to do in Melbourne

  We pretty much got exactly what was advertised. It wasn't much, but it was clean, comfortable and an enjoyable relief to come back to after spending the daytime being a tourist. I thoroughly recommend this hotel's cheaper suites to anyone on a budget who still wants to experience Melbourne easily and enjoyably. - Comfortable beds. Hot shower with good pressure. Friendly, helpful staff on reception. I am very impressed by the attitude and immediate response of staff on reception following the disturbance during early hours on Monday 14th November by workmen cleaning a grease trap. I am very grateful for their acknowledgment and appreciation of the inconvenience.

  Arriving on a delayed flight into Melbourne via Sydney from Hawaii, we expected all sorts of problems upon arriving very late at the Somerset. However, I must complement their staff, in particular Paul Dale, who were very helpful and understanding. We have stayed at the Somerset on a number of occasions and I must say the staff, and in particular ... vad folk säger » Paul Dale, are brilliant. I commend them for the service, the spotless room and the central location. Bob Langridge - i like there are lots of electric and home appliances, like microwave oven, washing machine, stove, etc. There are shops and supermarkets nearby thus cooking in the room is very convenient esp. my mother is a vegetarian. It also near the melbourne central, queen victoria markets. And many tourist points can be reach on foot. (If you don't mind to walk)

  The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the River View room, and were delighted with the views. The spectacular fireworks display on the Yarra river was a wonderful bonus.   I had made an error with my booking and due to this we were put in one of their other apartments on Malthouse Lane. It was very noisy and when I complained the staff didn't hesitate but move us to another apartment in the main building. Great service and we ended up staying there all weekend. The Adina is fabulously located close to everything in inner city Melbourne - you are only 5 minutes away from gre - Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they lent us tram passes and umbrellas. Beds really comfortable, bedrooms overlooking Flinders Street a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper but the view made it all worthwhile! Our friends bedroom had no view and they said it was very quiet. Great location for MCG and anything on the free tram. IGA express next door was very handy. Thank you for making our stay in Melbourne so memorable and special!

  The room I had - 206 - was perfect after a long tiring & emotionally draining 6 week trip overseas. The shower was best I have had anywhere - a good very strong jet of instantly hot/cold water. Provison of small fridge and coffee/tea making facilities was good and should be basic feature of standard hotel accommodation. The bed was perfect too... vad folk säger » … big and spacious for a tired traveller like me to stretch out and enjoy a good restful sleep. YOur reception staff were very courteous and friendly - I love this hotel. This was my second stay there. The location is fantastic, particularly if you are driving into the city from the airport like I was - easy to find. The staff are very very helpful and went out of their way to help me. The building is a little bit old and needs some small repairs, but really you can't beat this place for location and value for money.
