we were there for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was nothing to want in the way of cookware, kitchenware etc. and our travelling picnic basket was never used as it was all in house. -

We loved our time at the Grand Mercure. Staff are friendly and very down to earth. The facilities are great we spent more time in the pool then we did at the beach. The location is awesome you can smell the beach and plenty of restaurants to go to. I would rate this place very highly. -

On arrival after sundown, going up the lush tree/shrub lined driveway, we felt like we were in another world. Rob was an excellent host making sure we had all the information for where we were located and places to eat for dinner and breakfast. Rob was a very friendly host and an outstanding resource for information
on places to eat and things to do in and around Hervey Bay. His blog
also provided great recommendations about what to do on the way to
Hervey Bay from just about every direction. Our room's back porch
was a very pleasant spot to relax and have coffee in the morning and a
glass of wine or beer at night. We really enjoyed our stay!
