  Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place. Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly & helpful along with the tour desk. The club though is brilliant!! Large & loud & does $10 meal/drink deal which was a life save... vad folk säger » r. Would stay here again whenever in Cairns. - Stayed from 19.2.13 - 26.2.13 in room 417 and had an awesome stay. I went with 3 people from work in Brisbane as a get away. We hardly ended up leaving at all because everything was there. I'll be booking again soon. Very hard to fault! Thanks to all the Gilligan's team.

  Staff were lovely, very helpful, easy to approach. informative; Room was clean, spacious, comfortable & relaxing; bathroom was good; Everything very clean; Trips easy to organise Room & bathroom supplies were good Check in&out very smooth Easy access to everywhere from its location Great value for money; I would definitely stay again (... vad folk säger » if they'd put up with me!) & would certainly recommend the Discovery Cairns to others - Did what it said on the tin. Reasonable price. Walking distance - 15 mins of main drag but quiet surroundings which I wanted. Good restaurant open for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Happy hour at the bar. Receptionists could not have been more helpful. If I return to Cairns I will stay again for sure.

  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.
