It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. This is the best one hostel that I ever had stayed. The location is good, just 3 blocks to the subway line and close to different famous places in Buenos Aires, like Casa Rosado, Puerto Madero, Etc.

I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!
