It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. Great location around Recoleta. Very close to many tourist attractions such as the Recoleta Cemetery and Teatro Colon. Friendly staff, most spoke English very well. Breakfast was minimal but enjoyable because there were no time constraints. I highly recommend a restaurant down the street called 'Cumana'-- try the locro! -

Once we moved to Hotel Suites and Lofts 1 (the loft-one of the twohotels), the staff was very helpful, the hotel very clean and the valuefor money good. Especially the staff needs mentioning here. However,this does not apply to Hollywood Suites and Lofts 2 (the suites-tower)!!!!
