  I travel a lot for business and normally dont write these reviews. But the place was just great value for money and you could feel the the runing management cared about their place and customers. I arrived at 11pm and the parking lot was filled with cars. The lady who helped me offered other parking paces at the back of the building, but before I ... что говорят » could consider it, she said let me pull out my car so you can park in front of the motel. The hotel room itself is not fancy, but the quality is very - I was in Santa Barbara w/ my two teenage daughters for a few days. The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was larger than most for the money.and had a microwave and fridge. Susan, at the front desk was very warm and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat. We would stay at The Agave again.

  Excellent location. Love the absence of floral bedspreads and old carpet. Modern and streamlined is good in a value motel. Also love the welcome mat for pets! - I like the cleanliness and the evident good maintenance and intelligently chosen outdoor amenities. (no excessive and costly landscaping)

  The room was very clean, with a lovely retro look to it. Not like the usual Motel 6 rooms. Stayed at this location as it was close to a relatives house we were visiting. It was quiet, and staff was very nice and helpful with directions, etc. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, and the area appeared to be quite safe.   Stayed for one night as we were visiting ucsb. Jon checked us in and helpful and friendly in answering the few questions we had about the motel and surrounding area. The folks at the front desk the next day were also very courteous and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was included in the room price. The motel is definitely no-frills but it was quite comfortable, clean and quiet even though it was full. Also, there was no deposit or charge for my little dog. I loved that!   I did not stay myself, rather our friends from Germany. Since it was cool they didn't use the pool, even though pools are very important for Europeans -- so no comment about that. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean.
