I thought I had booked a room at the "other" Day's Inn on Castillo st and when I looked closer at my reservation it was a State st. The front desk (Sabrina) said they heard this before and I called the "other" Inn and they were not accomodating at all. I was in Santa Barbara w/ my two teenage daughters for a few days. The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was larger than most for the money.and had a microwave and fridge. Susan, at the front desk was very warm and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat. We would stay at The Agave again.

The location was superb, right across from the beach, Stearns Wharf and yacht club. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance as was Old Town. Close to many wine bars. Offers nice buffet breakfast. Staff exceptional, especially Mynor at the front desk.

From the moment my wife and I arrived, we loved the location, the hotel and the staff. The room was very large with a great seating area and outdoor space. basket welcoming us, which included fresh baked banana bread! The
