We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were
told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms
were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a
good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and
ready to help. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice with good

Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

Great location, very clean, nice room, easy to park next to the room, great continental breakfast, great view of the ocean. It was a short walk to town. For picking it sight unseen (except for pictures on the Internet) we were very pleased with choosing the Bar Harbor Inn and delighted with the overall experience.

First, the beds were great; comfortable, plush, lottsa pillows, quilt, and the room was pretty quiet (except for occasional footfalls upstairs, but, alas...). We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was exceptional. Friendly, attentive and fun. The continental breakfast was fabulous. The room was spacious and well equiped, with a lovely comfortable bed. There were many wonderful restaurants to which we could easily walk.. All and all a wonderful experience and we will return.

The Victorian flavor of the house is perfect, right down to the antiques
and decorations, our bathroom was updated and the little porch off the
room was a nice surprise, as was the gas fireplace! The owner held a
wine & cheese gathering before we left for dinner each night and
entertained us with stories about the town and its history. Breakfast
buffet was incredible with so many choices, including gluten free items!
The walk to town was so close too. We loved it!

Our room was large, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Lovely bathroom also.
We enjoyed having our own table at breakfast and not having to make small talk with strangers early in the morning.
The cocktail hour provided an opportunity to meet others if one so desired. The breakfasts and the evening hors d'oeuvres were delicious. -

I have stayed at Anne's White Columnns many times. I wouldn't
consider staying anywhere else!! Bob, is a wonderful host and Anne is an

We appreciate the design of the inn both regarding the living spaces and
the bedroom. The heritage of the "good old day" is clear as
well as the good taste of the owners Bob and Ann. We required a special
meal for breakfasr given my intolerance to gluten and Bob prepared us
personalized meals with no extra charge. Good place to relax, also very
close to Bar Harbor downtown and the bus stop to Acadia National Park.
HIghly recommended.

The Bar Harbor Motel provided everything we needed for our stay in Acadia National Park. It was close to the village of Bar Harbor but out of the hectic and crowded scene there. We could get into the park without having to go through downtown. There was a light breakfast fine for our needs, good TV, a very nice restaurant and brew pub right next door, with prime steak specials each night as well as good local brews on tap and a full bar (the Jack Russell Steakhouse). There was a laundry we used

Friendly welcome at reception, and pleasant surprise at our pretty, spacious room. The afternoon snacks put out for quests is a lovely idea and the breakfasts were very comprehensive and would suit everyone. We were also delighted to catch sight of the deer on the back lawn area one evening - a real treat. It was an easy location to get to, plenty of parking, and an short trip into the town area.
We were so pleased we had decided to visit this area and the National Park was just lovely - also

Great service, gourmet breakfast, great location, steps away from downtown and yet quiet, very cordial staff and owners are excellent people. The yellow house was very accommodating. -
The room was roomy and well appointed as was the bathroom. The staff is friendly and welcoming. AC was awsome. Bed was comfortable.

Outstanding staff. I had a problem with my baggage getting delayed and the staff on each shift jumped right in to help us track it and kept us informed while we went out. Tina even volunteered to call the airline! We also liked the location near but outside congested Bar Harbor. Clean and comfortable.
