E He has excellent customer service skills. The room was pleasant the beds good quality and the area quiet and rustic. Was babysiting for the family who were at a wedding at a larger hotel close to Oakham and the room rate was half that hotel and comfort wise we experienced twice as much. For a 10 min drive stay at The Old Pheasant Inn

  Very helpful, smiling, friendly staff. The chefs are fantastic. A very high standard of comfort and we were able to come and go as we pleased and could just sit and read in our comfortable, quiet room if we wished a sofa. The home cooked shortbread was daily replaced - sad for the waistline but absolutely devine for a few days 'chill'.   Really liked it , what stood out from most hotels was all the staff were young? But the most impressive thing was that these young staff were absolutely superb they had good personality s and were so efficient? 10 out of 10 for the whole team. - We had a fantastic weekend.
