The accommodation is centrally located and well presented. The
appartment we had (Shore) was up a couple of flights of stairs off an
inner courtyard. It was surprisingly spacious with a large hall, bedroom
and bathroom, a comfortable lounge and galley style kitchen. All
equipped in a contemporary style, so much for the money compared to a
hotel room. We had our large puppy with us and his crate bed could sit
in the hall without getting in anybody's way. The television and cd

The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful it has a real cosy family feel to the Europia. the guest house was lovely very close to town with free weekend parking. The breakfast was to die for and Janet was a great host! We will be going back again for sure. - i liked the pleasant treatment we received from janet and the wonderful breakfast

It was the cleanest East Coast resorts I've seen. There were people picking up litter all day long.
The hotel staff didn't bug us. It was very quiet on a night and we had a few channels on the tv. The hotel had a nice size on suite shower. Plenty of towels. Tea and coffee and Kettle in the room.

After a friendly welcome we were shown to our room which was large , immaculately clean, tastefully decorated & comfortable .The location was good , just a short walk into the center of Whitby. Enjoyed eating breakfast in the room at our leisure, plenty of choice in our breakfast hamper which was delivered to the door each morning .Ample tea/coffee in the room & the option to have the room serviced daily if required . You were made to feel welcome from the onset, all the facilities were pointed out immediately with tea/coffee offered, which was a very nice touch. The accommodation was very clean with an ensuite, you weren't bothered unnecessarily but help was at hand if required. Breakfast superb. In our opinion this was the best guest house we have stayed in. Our room was very comfortable spacious and clean and the towels were changed everyday. Michael and Sheila were very friendly and down-to-earth. We were made to feed very welcome and everything was to a good standard and very clean. The breakfast was very good too. Whitby itself has everything you could wish for from a friendly seaside town (British weather permitting of course) and it is particularly dog-friendly. There are lots of food outlets to suit every budget. Shopping is excellent. Will definitely be going to Whitby again!

very relaxing couple of days, hotel both inside and outside kept to a very good standard, staff very helpful and bedroom had lovely views over the countryside, a very clean and well kept hotel. - The staff were polite and efficient, the room was well maintained and clean, the food in the restaurant was extremely good.
