The accommodation is centrally located and well presented. The
appartment we had (Shore) was up a couple of flights of stairs off an
inner courtyard. It was surprisingly spacious with a large hall, bedroom
and bathroom, a comfortable lounge and galley style kitchen. All
equipped in a contemporary style, so much for the money compared to a
hotel room. We had our large puppy with us and his crate bed could sit
in the hall without getting in anybody's way. The television and cd

The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful it has a real cosy family feel to the Europia. We woke to the smell of bacon cooking downstairs (the best alarm clock in the world) and when We went for our breakfast we werent dissapointed we had a full english breakfast which consisted of bacon egg sausage mushrooms tomatoes beans+ toast,

It was the cleanest East Coast resorts I've seen. There were people picking up litter all day long.
The hotel staff didn't bug us. It was very quiet on a night and we had a few channels on the tv. The hotel had a nice size on suite shower. Plenty of towels. Tea and coffee and Kettle in the room.

After a friendly welcome we were shown to our room which was large , immaculately clean, tastefully decorated & comfortable .The location was good , just a short walk into the center of Whitby. In our opinion this was the best guest house we have stayed in. Our room was very comfortable spacious and clean and the towels were changed everyday. There was a fridge on our landing and the owner Sheila put fresh milk in there in case we didn't like the milk in our room (Have never stayed anywhere else that did that). Mike, Sheilas husband cook

Michael and Sheila were very friendly and down-to-earth. We were made to feed very welcome and everything was to a good standard and very clean. The breakfast was very good too. Whitby itself has everything you could wish for from a friendly seaside town (British weather permitting of course) and it is particularly dog-friendly. There are lots of food outlets to suit every budget. Shopping is excellent. Will definitely be going to Whitby again!
