In addition to the facilties one would expect from a hotel in this
category, I was treated as if I was a relative of the staff, I really
mean that. Being on my own, without overstepping the bounds of
professionalism, they went out of their way to be accommodating, It was
unfortunate that I needed a Doctor during my stay. This was arranged by
Sian with the care of a daughter. The restaurant manager of the Keep was
equally sincere and interested in his guests. This isnot often the case

Friendliness of staff, courtesy, professionalism, cleanliness comfort and lovely food / dining. The themed decor throughout could almost be an attraction in itself (nothing of faded former glory days here). Altogether a most pleasurable holiday stay which would be equally suited to business purposes. A family business working together (and it shows) thoughtfully investing in the business to mutual benefit.

The White House Hotel was a very nice surprise for us and we certainly can recommend this hotel to fellow travellers. We were in the annex room 19 which was handy for us with parking and if door open a view to golf course and the cliffs. Breakfast was especially nice with the services of Kristy & Cystral and their humorous remarks to us Aussies. A beautiful walk into Whitby along the cliff top or you can go along by the esplanade. We had dinner at the hotel on one night and we can't praise

Everyone at the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms and public aeas are spotlessly clean and comfortable.We decided to have dinner on the first night and it was so delicious we had it every other day too! (we stayed for 3 nights). The Saxonville has a slightly old fashioned feel to it, and none the worse for that. There was plenty of public space. The service was excellent. It is a bit out of town, but this is not a problem if you can walk half a mile, as the town centre, in season, is heaving. A relaxing place for a comfortable break. We only had one dinner in, but it was great value.

very relaxing couple of days, hotel both inside and outside kept to a very good standard, staff very helpful and bedroom had lovely views over the countryside, a very clean and well kept hotel. - The staff were polite and efficient, the room was well maintained and clean, the food in the restaurant was extremely good. All in all an excellent stay.

The Hostel is in an outstanding location, good for parking,the building itself is full of history without being stuffy or pretentious. Also you get free entry to the Abby how brilliant is that!

It was the cleanest East Coast resorts I've seen. There were people picking up litter all day long.
The hotel staff didn't bug us. It was very quiet on a night and we had a few channels on the tv. The hotel had a nice size on suite shower. Plenty of towels. Tea and coffee and Kettle in the room.

I cannot rate this hotel enough. We stayed a few weeks ago after deciding to show some American friends our country. We drove down to Whitby from Lichfield and booked a two room aprtment at the resolution hotel.

We stayed at the resolution for valentines night and we can't fault
it at all. We got a very good deal on the room which made it amazing
value for money! We stayed in a double room, which was beautifully
decorated, very clean and extremely well stocked full of toiletries,
drink making facilities, fan, hair dryer, safe etc The view was
amazing!!! A gorgeous out look of the bay and the abbey over the roof
tops of Whitby :) The staff were lovely and the breakfast was
