  The couple who run St James' are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and well equipped.Breakfast was well cooked with a choice of kippers as well as full English , good selection of cereal and plenty of toast.   Arrived at Jay's Mayfair after an awful journey and in torrential rain, we were immediately met with a warm welcome from Jay and Laura. Jay helped us with a very lucky parking space.   Our stay at Lonsdale Hotel was truly magical! We went down to Blackpool just for 1 night to attend the Red Rose Awards and did not expect this trip to be much more than a regular 1 night business trip, my we were wrong! Steven and Carl from Lonsdale made our stay so memorable and personal!   The owners couldn't be more welcoming when we arrived, went out their way to help and accomodate us any way they could . Breakfast was usually served at 9 am but on the sunday they had our breakfast ready at 6.30 am as we had a competition to get to, many thanks as you and your hospitality made our trip to blackpool a great success .
