The hosts were just wonderful--not just the usual friendly welcome but going so far as to come out to our car in a driving rainstorm with an umbrella to help us park and unload our bags. The rooms were clean and comfy, the breakfast was great, and the location couldn't have been better, given that we wanted to be near the city centre. We've been to Inverness several times in the past, but this is our favorite B&B there of all.

The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.

Ross was an exceptional host. His nature/personality is perfect to be the Host of Royston.
His Home/Guest House is warm and inviting as he is what a wonderful time we had plenty of talking, laughter and good times.
Nothing was too much trouble and the cleaniness and décor was just like home.

Piping hot breakfast served at table and good choice on buffet.Two establishments close by for evening meals. The owner was friendly and offered local advice. I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

Although I arrived early, I was made welcome immediately. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent value for money, the breakfast was first class, and I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel and use the lounge if i wished until my taxi arrived (1.30pm). We spent just one night but it has been enough to live the authentic spirit of Scotland! The room was very beautiful and the bathroom was fantastic. We had an eccellent breakfast in a lovely dining room. The owner was delicious and very friendly. The house is very close to the center of Inverness(10 mins walk). Very nice place. Warm welcome.

Nice place, friendly staff, great view. - The house is really lovely, clean and warm. The bathroom is in good condition as well. Good location - near the supermarket, information centre, local tour picking up stop and the coach station. And the breakfast is just home-like!
