We can't say enough about this place; absolutely fantastic! For a family traveling with adult children, the space was ideal - very roomy and comfortable. The furnishings are lovely and it was very clean. We were all quite amazed with the location (right in the middle of shopping & sites), the size of the apartment, the furnishings, the little things like having detergent for the laundry, tea & coffee, cookies, etc., the attention to detail and cleanliness.

The room was great, the breakfast was great. There was a little difficulty checking in as this accommodation is managed by the hotel across the road and the staff member was new but otherwise the staff at the hotel, and the host for Ardentorrie house were very friendly. -

The location, the sense of familiarity. Being a solo traveller you felt secure and that if something went wrong there would be help. The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.
