  This is our fourth stay at the Mercure Holland House, Bristol. We have always received the best of attention from the staff who are very pleasant to a one. Our room is always good and we mostly have been able to have the same room on each stay. Breakfast is very good and we have had some lovely dinners there.   Excellent location, large parking just outside of main entrance, well designed reception and huge rooms that could probably fit one more double bed in it. Tea/coffee tray in a room had plenty of coffee sachets and tea bags unlike other hotels that would only have one or two. Also, bed is huge, much bigger than we expected. We will definatley be going back, we only stayed for one night but will stay for longer next time. The room was very clean and comfortable and the restaurant was good value for money.

  Stayed 18-20th July 2013 room 210. Had a great stay here. Arrived a bit early at 12.30 but there was a room ready so we could check in. The parking is right next door in the NCP multistorey carpark. Unfortunately the carpark lifts are out of action but that's NCP's fault. Being room 210 it was on second floor, maybe the higher floors had a better view but w - NB. My husband and I stayed with our granddaughters aged 3 and 7) We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren. The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,

  It was very convenient in terms of its proximity to the airport. Despite being close to a main road, the rooms have double glazing and we didn't hear any noise whatsoever. The family room was big enough for us and also accommodated a cot, and the bathroom was also large and spacious.   The hotel has a great location for those wanting to explore the city, especially good for the shops with Cabot Circus a 5 min walk away! Staff couldnt have done more to make our stay! It is new and clean which is pretty rare for hostels. Showers are new and clean too. Tv lounge on the ground floor is a great concept. The rooms weren't quite as nice but perfectly acceptable. The wifi was good but you have to pay for it and it doesn't reach the bedrooms - only available in the communal areas. Location is fantastic.

  We were attending a concert at the nearby Castle & chose it as it was so close. The staff were all excellent especially the breakfast staff who were friendly even though they were busy. Kept charging my phone for me as I'd left my charger at home. Even googled and printed off some bus routes and times for me to get to the zoo. Great location, 5 minute walk to restaurants, cinema and bowling and a further 5 minutes to the mall. Buses right outside the hotel can get you pretty much anywhere. We got th 54 then 9 to the zoo. 54 all the way to Cabot Circus/Harbor and 54 then 74 to Parkway Rail station. Food in the Thyme restaurant was very nice and

  We were immediately greeted with friendly, efficient staff. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Delicious breakfast - enough to set us up for a day's sightseeing! Thank you f - We were going to the Hippodrome and so I had sourced this hotel as being particularly close. I am a single mother with two children and so I had booked a family room, but I never expected it to be as roomy and practical as it was. With three beds, a decent sized bathroom, a tv and coffee facilities all being on a floor which was clearly marked "QUIET ZONE" I was so impressed and would definitely stay here again.
