Great location, 5 minutes walk from Southgate shops, restaurants and Underground station. We ate a lovely dinner at Kye's restaurant which is in the opposite direction to the shops, 5 minutes walk away. The Oaks is is in a quiet location with friendly hosts, and it was a clean and well presented room.

A very comfortable hotel. Very nice, helpful staff. Easy walk to the tube station as well as High Street where you can get all the essentials. Hi the only bad thing about the stay was when we were booking it on letsbookhotel.com it said we could either pay 170 pounds or we could pay 200euro on arrivel as we went to check in we were told we couldnt pay in euros we had to walk about a half hour to change currency we had reservation for jamie olivers restaurant and we were goin to mama mia

The staff is amazing - they tried to come up with ways to help me and were always there to greet me with a smile. The room was lovely and the wireless was strong and consistent. The bathrooms are fine, I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. And breakfast was more than adequate. This place is spectacular value for your money! - Nic

Very comfortable, clean and modern. Neighbourhood was pleasant with supermarkets, English pubs etc within 5 mins walking. Quiet and secure. Within 5 mins walk to underground - Northern Line - which went directly into city centre via St Pancras.
