The whole atmosphere at this Hotel was welcoming and friendly, they seemed pleased to have you there. Really excellent Hotel I would thoroughly recommend. - The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean, tidy and warm. Good location (5 mins walk), after exit Zermatt train station we can see Germat... station, just asked where is MacDonald or walk award to the right. Zermatt is a beautiful town with the traditional Swiss wooden houses style and around with mountains. Love coming back -
The hotel is located very close to the train station and it is possible to walk to the hotel, even with luggage. The rooms are spacious enough and nicely decorated with a huge balcony and flat screen tv. Coffee and tea making facilities are included. The private bathrooms have both bath and shower. Breakfast is standard and sufficient and the hotel staff is friendly and professional. The hotel deserves more that its three stars

We were there off season so the staff was .limited but that did not stop them from providing excellent service, attending to our every need. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.
