  We came in during a rain storm. The staff had the "fire" going in the fireplace, set out complimentary wine and allowed us time to shake off the cold. The rooms were luxuriously appointed... Highlights: Roasted pear and beetroot salad. Moussaka, Stuffed chicken and Ostrich. We wish we had been able to fit more in! - The restored building is tastefully(not smart) decorated. The hotel is situated in a quiet street where most of the buildings are restored which gives the street a special atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a double door opening on the stoep (which to me was very special). The staff was absolutely amazing!!
